Eliptical sentence adalah gabunagn dua kalimat yang beda subjeknya tetapi kata kerjanya sama dan digunakan untuk menghindari pengulangan kata. Kalimat elip dinyatakan dengan menggunakan auxiliaries, do, does,did,have,has,had,can,could,might, must, shall.
